Strum, Strike and Blow will feature around 1,500 students performing on marimbas, ukuleles and recorders from schools from around the Canterbury region. Accompanied by a small expert band of professional musicians with some special guests.

The Festival is run by volunteers from Music Education Canterbury in collaboration with The Christchurch Civic Music Council and is in its 14th year.
