Specialist Dementia Education Seminar -Driving
About this Event
Although a diagnosis of dementia does not mean automatic driver license suspension in New Zealand (as it does in some countries), dementia can indeed impact on driving safety. Julie and Samantha, Occupational Therapy Team, Burwood Driving Assessment Service, will talk about how driving fitness is evaluated in a person with dementia. There will be time for questions at the end.
This seminar is held at BrainTree, 70 Langdons Road. It is free to attend, however a koha donation will be gratefully received.
Registration is necessary to attend as space is limited. Link coming soon. If you can no longer attend, please let us know. This helps us offer your place to someone else. Thank you for your understanding.
Due to issues with sound quality, we will not be holding this event via Zoom. This is an in-person event only.
