Story Stones & Family Wishes
About this Event
A free community morning where young children can create story stones, share ideas, and welcome a new season of connection.
Join Little Nestlings for a gentle morning of storytelling, creativity, family connection, and memory-making.
During Story Stones and Family Wishes, children will choose a small stone and transform it using drawing and open-ended art materials. A stone might become a tiny character, an animal, a family symbol, or the beginning of a brand-new story.
Families will also be invited to create or share a wish together, adding another meaningful layer of connection to the morning.
We are delighted to welcome Evelynne Gomes Greenberg of Evelynne Gomes Greenberg Photography LLC as our featured Community Saturday partner.
Evelynne is an Oregon family photographer whose warm, playful approach celebrates love, connection, and the genuine interactions that make every family unique. Rather than asking children to sit still or pose for forced smiles, she creates a relaxed experience where children can be themselves and families can enjoy the moment together.
During the event, Evelynne will offer an optional complimentary family portrait opportunity. Each participating family may receive one family portrait delivered digitally. Portraits will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, as time allows during the event. Families who participate will provide an email address directly to Evelynne so she can deliver their portrait.
Families may separately choose whether they would also like to join Evelynne’s mailing list and receive future photography information. Joining the mailing list is not required to receive the complimentary portrait.
The portrait opportunity is completely optional. Families are also welcome to simply enjoy the creative activities and experience the Little Nestlings environment.
This free event is designed to feel calm, welcoming, and unhurried. Come create something meaningful, follow your child’s imagination, and preserve a small piece of this season together.

Important Portrait Information
Each participating family may receive one complimentary family portrait delivered digitally.
Portraits will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis as time allows. Registration for the Community Saturday does not guarantee that every attending family will be photographed.
Families who participate will provide their contact information directly to Evelynne for portrait delivery.
Consent to receive future marketing emails will be optional and separate from the contact information required to deliver the portrait.
Separate permission will also be required before a family portrait may be used publicly by Little Nestlings or Evelynne Gomes Greenberg Photography.
