SPIRITUS BREATHWORK - conscious connected breathwork journey

This group journey is for those who are ready to dive deep, transform through the layers of their self, and/or want to try something new. In a small, personal group, we will embark on a Breathwork Journey.
There are many Breathwork practices out there that are supposed to make the practicioners 'high'. This might be an effect in Spiritus breathwork as well but is not the main aim in the practice. There is deeper potential in Breathwork besides seeking a sensation of being high.

Conscious Connected Breathwork is an activating breathwork practice that connects us with our subconscious and unconscious. Breathwork allows us to relax on a physical level, and helps to rewire and regulate our nervous system. All the experiences that we may have resolved mentally but are still stored in our bodies can find liberation here. This gives our system the opportunity to release stored emotions and tension that lie within our subconscious and unconscious.

The breathwork takes place while lying down and lasts for about an hour. By deepening the breath, we activate our system and get the chance to meet ourselves. We can gain deep insights and realizations, create space to meet our feelings and let them out, or release stress from our bodies. Breathwork helps to regulate our nervous system in the long term.

By reliving a feeling without attachment to a story, the body can release that emotion. It is freed from the nervous system, thereby expanding our available capacity for energy and resilience. Breathwork can create new space for us to experience ourselves fully, just as we are meant to be.

What you need:

-no prior knowledge of breathwork or other breathing techniques

-comfortable clothing

-openness and desire to meet yourself deeply

-please do not eat large meals before the session

-Diagnosed with (complex) post-traumatic stress disorder
-Severe mental illness (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, psychosis)
-Taking mind-altering medications (antidepressants, antipsychotics...)
-Retinal detachment
-Acute physical injuries, fractures or operations
-epilepsy
-Aneurysm
-stroke
-Severe asthma
-Coronary heart disease
-diabetes
-pregnancy
-Kundalini awakening (spontaneous)
-Frequent use of drugs
