James Baldwin's words on race, power, and American identity are as urgent today as they were when he first wrote them. On Sunday, August 2, what would have been his birthday, we're hosting a special 10th anniversary screening of I Am Not Your Negro (2016).
After the film, we’re welcoming panelists Dr. Kandice Sumner, President & CEO of METCO, and Malcolm Cawthorne, Brookline METCO Director & BPS Educator. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Raul Fernandez, Senior Lecturer at BU Wheelock College.
