Empirical research has found that loving kindness meditation boosts our overall experiences of positive emotions and connection with others, as well as with other foundational needs that foster love and belonging, such as social support and living a life of purpose (Kok, 2013; Goleman & Davidson, 2017; Fredrickson, et al, 2008). When we lean into practicing loving kindness, we start with treating ourselves with kindness and respect and then extend that to others.

With a background in mindfulness and somatic based therapy, yoga-informed work and breathwork, I weave together holistic safe for honoring the mind-body connection for resetting on a cellular level.
