An intimate two-hour evening of music and storytelling.
Throughout the evening, they’ll perform original songs, influential covers, and unpack the stories behind how those songs came to be or why they still matter. Expect reflections on writing, friendship, small-town beginnings and the moments that change the direction of a life in music.
Nathan Langley, hailing from Country Harbour, Nova Scotia, blends small-town roots with refined musicianship. Formerly a member of The Travelling Nobodies and now a respected solo artist, Nathan is known for his smooth, controlled vocals and intricate guitar work. His songs explore love, pride, dreams, and heartbreak with an honesty that connects quickly. With the release of his recent single Come Back Virginia, he continues to build momentum across the East Coast.
Pete Lumsden Music brings deep family roots from Canso and Antigonish and a songwriting style grounded in authenticity. A rising voice in Nova Scotia’s music scene, Pete’s soulful delivery and heartfelt lyrics have earned him spots on festival stages and in breweries across the province. His debut EP What Gets Left Behind showcases a songwriter who values story just as much as melody.
Together, Nathan and Pete share more than a stage. They share history, friendship, and a deep respect for the music that shaped them.
