Social Enterprise Day

Of course we will be celebrating Social Enterprise Day this year and we would love to invite you along!

We will be raising awareness of what we do here at Bounceback Food CIC and the many ways you can get involved to support our non-profit organisation!

- If you are interested in becoming a part of our volunteer team, you can chat with the Community Chefs on the day to find out more and fill out a register form via our website.

- Grab a lunch from us and this will support our buy one give one scheme - every meal bought will fund a meal to food banks and sheltered accommodation sites across Manchester. If you can't make it to Social Enterprise Day - don't worry! you can visit our Community Kitchen on a different day, we're open Tuesday-Sunday 9am-3pm.

- While your here feel free to grab a free cup of tea or coffee from our Cuppa's for the Community board. Or pay one forward for someone else! this is there for anyone who would like a warm brew or a pick-me-up, sometimes a free cup of tea can really turn your day around.

- You can also support us by purchasing our cookbooks and merchandise! we have a range of goodies on offer that make perfect gifts or a treat for yourself :) you can buy these directly from us at the Bounceback Food Community Kitchen or via our online store.

About Bounceback Food

Bounceback Food CIC is a social enterprise fighting food poverty on multiple fronts. Since 2014 our Community Cookery School teams have been teaching people how to cook, running food bank drives at market events, helping people get jobs in the food sector and coordinating community meal drives that provide emergency meals for our beneficiaries.

Since 2014 we have taught 5,000+ people how to cook, including stroke survivors, young carers, food bank beneficiaries and elderly people living in sheltered accommodation. We have also secured 15,000+ donations to food banks and generated over 150,000 meals for people in need via our catering, community meal drives and cookery workshops.

Where is Bounceback Food Community Kitchen located?

You can find us at Altrincham Market, on Central Way, opposite Everyman Cinema. There are plenty of parking options nearby, or we are a short walk from the Altrincham tram stop.

I can't make it on the day - how else can I support your Social Enterprise?

There are lots of ways to support our non-profit organisation! You could:

- Visit our Community Kitchen on a different day, we're open Tuesday-Sunday 9am-3pm.

- Order cookbooks/merchandise from our online store.
