Secret Dishes From Around the UK (2 Workshops)

On our Secret Dishes From Around the UK cookery course you'll learn how to cook exciting recipes in a friendly, supportive learning environment. Each workshop is themed on food from a different recipe from our 'Secret dishes from around the UK' 2025 recipe calendar.

We welcome people of all ages and ability - no previous cooking experience is required. Our experienced course tutors provide hands on support and accommodate all learning needs. All required ingredients and equipment are provided! The course takes place at The Hub, a wonderful community centre in Altrincham.

This ticket includes two evening workshops on;

Workshop 1: Thursday 6th Febuary, 7-9pm

Workshop 2: Thursday 13th Febuary, 7-9pm

Each of these workshops will include 2 recipes inspired by our 'Secret Dishes from around the UK '2025 Calender.

Who are we?

Bounceback Food CIC is a social enterprise fighting food poverty on multiple fronts. Since 2014 our Community Cookery School teams have been teaching people how to cook, running food bank drives at market events, helping people get jobs in the food sector and coordinating community meal drives that provide emergency meals for our beneficiaries.

Since 2014 we have taught 9,000+ people how to cook, including stroke survivors, young carers, food bank beneficiaries and elderly people living in sheltered accommodation. We have also secured 20,000+ donations to food banks and generated over 225,000 meals for people in need via our catering, community meal drives and cookery workshops.

How will you cater for my dietary requirements?

Please let us know of any dietary requirements via the questionaire you will see once you have purchased a ticket. We will then plan and adjust recipes accordingly.
