Each year, the KC Cosplay Runner rises out of the 5K that he thinks is the most sincere. He's gotta pick this one. He's got to. I don't see how a 5K can be more sincere than this one (Jared Coones Memorial Pumpkin Run). You can look around and there's not a sign of hypocrisy. Nothing but sincerity as far as the eye can see. Now, my sister says, ""A person should always choose a costume which is in direct contrast to her own personality." If that's so, I must have an extraordinarily complex personality! And if things don't work out, just wait 'til next year. You'll see! Next year at this same time, I'll find a 5K that is real sincere and I'll stand at the start line of that 5K until the KC Cosplay Runner appears. (Note: This event is not the race link.
