The Super Mouse 500 is a booster event for team CREO. Be prepared for wild thrills and beer spills during the 2 hour event, which will absolutely be a one of a kind experience to entertain the whole family. In bare form, it's a micro sized horse race with mice racing across a 10 foot track displayed horizontally on the stage in the Hop Yard at Tall Trellis.
Mice are staged at the left side of the track, the starting gate opens, a little compressed air motivates the mice to run to the other end. First one into the victory zone is the winner.
6 qualifier races narrow down the 36 mouse athlete field to 6 ultra badass mice, who will compete for all the glory in the Super Final.
How the fundraising works:
-"Betting" is made in $2 increments. Every $2 buys a raffle ticket, you place your tickets in the buckets for the mouse of your choice in one of six lanes per race.
-6 races will be run, and one ticket will be drawn from the winning mouse's lane, and one from all the losing lanes tickets, from each race. The more tickets you buy, the more likely you are to win regardless of how your mouse finishes.
-Cash prizes for both winning and losing mice. The drawn winner ticket takes 10% of that race's purse. The drawn loser ticket wins 2% of the purse and a free beer. The more action, the higher the take.
-Winning tickets are recycled and added to the Super Final drawing.
The Super Final, which features all 6 of the winning mice, will be the grand finale race with a cash payout of $1,000 ($1,000 if all tickets are sold out, or 5% of the entire purse) from the winning mouse's lane. Tickets for Super Final are $10 each. A losing mouse ticket will be drawn for a mouse themed prize pack, and probably another free beer.
There is a $5 cover to attend, this pays for Vic the Mouse Man and his racing system. It's an elaborate setup, and it's not cheap.
There will be drink specials and upscale bar food.
Venmo will be accepted, cash preferred.
Spend $30 and get a free team CREO t-shirt, while supplies last.
Funding raised will go toward a successful season of General Tire Arenacross for team CREO, through an interactive hellacious good time. Have fun, enjoy a cold one, and go berzerk as your mouse races toward the big cheese.
First race starts shortly after 7pm. Estimated finish time at 9pm.
