Goat Milk Soap Making Experience
Join us at Choose Joy Farm for a fun, hands-on introduction to the art of traditional goat milk soap making! Whether you've always wanted to learn how soap is made or you're looking for a unique experience to enjoy with friends or family, this class is the perfect place to start.
During this workshop, you'll learn:
- The benefits of goat milk soap
- The oils and ingredients that create a nourishing, long-lasting bar
- Soap making safety and the role of lye in the soap-making process
- How to incorporate fragrances, colors, and natural additives
- Why cold-process soap must cure before it is safe to use
Working alongside our instructor, you'll create your own batch of goat milk soap using fresh milk from the goats here at Choose Joy Farm. You'll choose your fragrance and watch your custom batch come to life from start to finish.
Please Note: The soap you make during class is authentic cold-process soap and must cure for approximately 4–6 weeks before it is safe to use. Because of this, you will not take home the soap you make that day.
Instead, every participant will leave with five bars of fully cured, ready-to-use Choose Joy Farm goat milk soap in the fragrances of their choice so you can begin enjoying handcrafted goat milk soap right away.
This class is beginner-friendly, and no previous experience is necessary. All supplies, safety equipment, and instruction are included.
