Goat Milking Experience & Class
Choose Joy Farm
Join us at Choose Joy Farm for a fun and educational afternoon designed for anyone curious about dairy goats and farm life. During this two-hour experience, guests will have the opportunity to step onto the farm, meet our friendly herd, and learn how goat milk is produced from start to finish.
The class begins with a Meet the Herd introduction where you will get to know our goats and learn about their personalities, care, and role on the farm. Guests will also enjoy time to snuggle our adorable baby goats, a favorite part of the experience.
Next, we will move into the milking portion of the class. You will see a hand milking demonstration as well as a machine milking demonstration, where we will explain the equipment and process used to collect milk safely and efficiently. Participants will then have the opportunity for a hands-on milking experience, allowing you to try milking a goat yourself with guidance.
We will wrap up the class with a Q&A session, where you can ask questions about dairy goats, goat care, and starting with goats on your own farm or homestead. Guests will also enjoy a goat milk taste test to experience the fresh, creamy flavor of farm-produced goat milk.
By participating in this event you give us full rights and waiver to use the photographs taken at the event in our promotional marketing.
A professional photographer will be on site during the event capturing beautiful photos of guests interacting with the baby goats. Photo sessions will be available for those who would like professional images with the goats.
