There's nothing quite like a peaceful morning on the farm with a warm cup of coffee and a flock of curious chickens.

Join us at Choose Joy Farm for Coffee & Chickens, a fun, relaxed, and educational farm experience designed for anyone interested in backyard chickens. Whether you're dreaming of collecting fresh eggs, planning your first flock, or simply love spending time with farm animals, this class is the perfect way to learn in a welcoming, hands-on environment.

We'll start the morning with coffee and conversation as we discuss everything new and aspiring chicken owners should know, including choosing breeds, setting up a coop, feeding and nutrition, predator protection, daily care, egg production, and common beginner mistakes. You'll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and learn from real-life experience.

Then we'll head out to the coop to meet the flock! Spend time interacting with a variety of chicken breeds, learn about their unique personalities, tour the chicken area, and, when available, collect fresh eggs straight from the nesting boxes.

Whether your goal is a few backyard hens, a more self-sufficient lifestyle, or simply enjoying a memorable morning on the farm, you'll leave with practical knowledge, newfound confidence, and a greater appreciation for these entertaining and hardworking birds.

No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity, your love of animals, and your favorite coffee mug. We'll provide the coffee, the chickens, and a morning you'll be talking about long after you leave the farm.

A professional photographer will be on site capturing beautiful photos of guests interacting with the chickens, with optional photo sessions available. By purchasing a ticket, you understand and agree that photos and videos taken during the event may be used by Choose Joy Farm for promotional and marketing purposes. Participation is voluntary and attendees may be photographed in public group settings during the event.
