About this Event
This program will help poultry owners start, introduce and maintain a healthy flock. Learn about facility requirements, and finding poultry to stock your coop. Get prepared to avoid poultry diseases and learn about the various legal restrictions to follow. Keep your chickens happy by understanding their feeding requirements. Discover what a small poultry operation costs and what you might expect to gain as income if that is consistent with your goals. Poultry can be an enjoyable enterprise and enhance the rural ambiance in your backyard.
