Sierra Medical Center welcomes expecting families to our prenatal education classes, hosted by experienced local nurses. All classes are free to attend.

Breastfeeding: Learn the breastfeeding basics. Breastfeeding is a wonderful way to nourish and feed your new baby, but it can also be challenging. Being prepared and having information about breastfeeding can give you the tools to make breastfeeding successful.

Class sizes vary by topic to ensure adequate time for questions and learning. Only one ticket is needed for both the expecting mom and one accompanying support person.

Pre-natal classes and support groups hosted by Northern Nevada Health System are for educational purposes only. Any questions specific to a patient’s medical condition should be addressed by their provider.
