Sierra Medical Center — Preparing for Delivering a Baby

Sierra Medical Center welcomes expecting families to our prenatal education classes, hosted by experienced local nurses. All classes are free to attend.

Preparing for the incredible journey of delivering a baby: Before you arrive at the hospital, it can be helpful to think about, discuss and plan for the journey of having a baby. In this class, we will review many of the different things that can happen during the labor. We will also discuss how expectations, information, plans and emotions are part of the journey. This class will help you explore the different paths this journey can take and you will have an opportunity to discuss and ask questions of the nurse instructor.

Class sizes vary by topic to ensure adequate time for questions and learning. Only one ticket is needed for both the expecting mom and one accompanying support person.
