Sierra Medical Center — Coping with Labor

Sierra Medical Center welcomes expecting families to our prenatal education classes, hosted by experienced local nurses. All classes are free to attend.

Coping with Labor: Labor can be mentally and physically challenging, and it can be hard to predict how each labor experience will progress. This class will review different pain management techniques you can use both on your own and in collaboration with your care team.

Class sizes vary by topic to ensure adequate time for questions and learning. Only one ticket is needed for both the expecting mom and one accompanying support person.

Pre-natal classes and support groups hosted by Northern Nevada Health System are for educational purposes only. Any questions specific to a patient’s medical condition should be addressed by their provider.
