Slow Flow Yoga for Relaxation
About this Event
This new, monthly second-Sunday 9 AM class is here to help us feel grounded and present.
This one hour class will include gentle movement paired with our breath in a slow seated and standing flow. We will transition into 1-3 minute Yin-style pose holds to target deeper muscle tissue release. We will end our morning with some breathwork practice.
By bringing attention to our body and breathing, we can encourage ourselves to be present and invite ourselves to relax.
When it feels like our attention can be pulled in 1,000 directions before breakfast, and we feel like we need to optimize everything in our lives, this practice will allow you to take some time for yourself to feel rooted and calm.
No props are required, but please bring your own mat and come prepared both to move and to rest.
This class is donation based.
