Looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon in the FALL of 2026???
Why not join us for leisurely SKATING TOUR of Wilshire Boulevard Miracle Mile, LACMA, Petersen's Automotive Museum, Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Hancock Park, LaBrea Tar Pits, and MORE???

Please meet at the URBAN LIGHT at LACMA located at:

Los Angeles, CA 90036
Some attendees may be running late, so we can wait 15-20 minutes for those that may be running late.
The members may chat, mingle, socialize, and get to know each other better.
Activities:
Wilshire Boulevard Miracle Mile, LACMA, Petersen's Automotive Museum, Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Hancock Park, LaBrea Tar Pits, and MORE!!!
We set out on SKATES (Rollerblades or Rollerskates) from the meeting point at URBAN LIGHT at LACMA and tour around the Wilshire Boulevard MIRACLE MILE area.
The following interesting attractions are featured in the SKATING Tour.

Academy Museum of Motion Pictures
Petersen's Automotive Museum
Hancock Park
The LaBrea Tar Pits
The SKATE group may discuss and decide as a group what activities to participate.
Then we proceed on SKATES per the agreed upon itinerary discussed by the group.
We can stop anytime to rest and recover from the rigors of skating. There are water fountains and restrooms at LACMA and benches to sit down and to rest.
The group may observe the activities along Wilshire Boulevard Miracle Mile, LACMA, Petersen's Automotive Museum, Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Hancock Park, and the LaBrea Tar Pits, socialize, mingle, and get to know each other better.
The group may reflect on the Skate LA skating event to discuss the various activities along Wilshire Boulevard MIRACLE MILE, the architecture of the local historic buildings, and the group can discuss the next SKATING TOUR.:

Please bring enough water for approximately a 2 - 3 mile LEVEL SKATE along the Wilshire Boulevard Miracle Mile and some snack items to consume during the skating event.
This skating event is not meant to exhaust the attendees; it is just a light, easy, level skate to enjoy the natural beauty of Hancock Park and La Brea Tar Pits, the views of the architecture of the buildings along Wilshire Boulevard Miracle Mile, get some exercise, mingle, socialize, and get to know the other members.
