Sinking into Deep Rest: Autumn Retreat Are you feeling the pull of autumn and the need to slow down?
Join us for our"Sinking into Deep Rest'' Autumn Retreat led by our beautiful Laura Taylor and hosted by Cristine at Hotpod Yoga Taunton Studio, a rejuvenating 4-hour experience designed to help you unwind and reconnect with yourself.
We’ll start with 'Gentle Pranayama', a breathing technique rooted in ancient practice that helps calm the nervous system and bring clarity to the mind. This sets the tone for our Restorative Yoga session, where we’ll use supported poses to release tension and promote deep relaxation. Research shows that restorative yoga can significantly reduce stress and improve overall well-being, making it a perfect way to transition into the cozy season.
After our yoga practice, we’ll dive into a 'Guided Journaling'.
Writing can be a powerful tool for self - awareness, allowing us to process our thoughts and set intentions as we move into this new chapter. It’s a chance to reflect on what you want to carry forward and what you might want to let go of.
We’ll wrap up our retreat with 'Yoga Nidra' and 'Sound Healing'
Yoga Nidra, often referred to as 'yogic sleep,' is a state of deep relaxation that can help reduce anxiety and promote emotional healing. Coupled with sound healing using different instruments —where soothing sounds create a peaceful environment—this will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
This is your invitation to take a break, reconnect with your body and soul this season.
