Six women singer-singwriter musicians : Anna Ruth Hall, Bee Eigen, Oliah Fall, Neera Salven, Marina Sanford and Marcie MadeofLight (from the Nevada City area & one from LA) will take turns playing a selection of their original songs.
In a songwriter "round" style, each artist plays one song and then the next artist plays, and then it comes back around in a circle and starts over again. Each artist will be showcasing their best work.
About the Artists :
Bee Eigen is a Grass Valley, California–based indie folk songwriter known for her rich vocals and honest, emotionally grounded storytelling. Her music explores themes like mental health, societal expectations, and personal growth. Her debut EP, Sanguine, is out now, and she performs regularly throughout Grass Valley and nearby towns.
Oliah Fall is a Nevada City-based multi-medium artist who grew up in Maine and has been writing songs since her early teens. She has released a solo album "Quandary," on Bandcamp and another as part of a duo called "Nerve Ascending." Her style ranges from indie-pop, to folk-punk. She is currently working on recording another solo album. She also published a book of her poems called, "Beyond the Tree of Dreams."
Marina Sanford is a Nevada County singer-songwriter with a rich library of original tunes. Inspired by art, trauma, mental illness, psychedelia, and magic, her songs are honest, brave, and occasionally clever. With a unique picking style and a voice sometimes crooning beyond its range, Marina strives to resonate with the underdog, the student, and the mage in us all.
Anna Ruth Hall is a spoken word poet, song-weaver, and writer born, raised, and currently living on Tongva Land in Southern California whose words exude the frequency of wildness and the primal spirit of Mother Earth. Her poetry and music ignite in those who bear witness both ancient remembrance and a fiery passion for the new world birthing. Anna’s debut spoken world Album “LUNATIC” can be heard now on all streaming platforms. She is in the process of creating a paperback version of LUNATIC as well as the first book “When Mountains Move” in her conscious fantasy saga “World Bridgers.” Anna also guides, facilitates and offers bodywork in the realms of Sacred Sexuality and Womb Wisdom.
Neera Salven is a magical lady, a shiny lighthouse, sometimes a silly crumpet who also contains a deep well of volcanic intensity. She loves circle songs and audience participation. Her mission is to get you to FEEL IT!
