Constitution Day Concert Performance by Nevada County Concert Band

Come downtown for a FREE open-air concert featuring the spectacular Nevada County Concert Band on Saturday September 19th from 4:30-6:30pm! The concert will take place on North Pine Street. Please try to bring Your Own Chair – a limited number of chairs are provided, but it’s highly encouraged to bring your own, so you don’t miss out!
The weekend festivities also include a Revolutionary War Living History reenactment at Pioneer Park (Saturday & Sunday), and the
59th annual Constitution Day Parade. The Nevada City Constitution Day Parade has been a local tradition since 1967 and is reported to be the oldest and largest Constitution Day observance in the Western United States.
The parade features numerous entries including marching bands, antique automobiles, equestrians, politicians, and the crowd favorite Famous Marching Presidents of Nevada City, a humorous, but reverent group that portrays each U.S. President and First Lady.

*SATURDAY 9/19:
-Revolutionary War Living History from 10-5pm at Pioneer Park
-Constitution Day Concert from 4:30pm-6:30pm on North Pine Street, downtown Nevada City
*SUNDAY 9/20:
-Revolutionary War Living History from 10am-Noon, Pioneer Park
-Street Fair from 12:00pm to 4:00pm
-Mock Historical Signing of U.S Constitution at 1:30pm
-Constitution Day Parade begins 2:00pm on Broad Street, downtown Nevada City
