About this Event
Discover the secrets of your stomach at December's Science Club Abingdon, and follow the amazing journey of food through your body! Have you ever wondered what happens to your food after you eat it? Follow the tum-trail: make a model of the human digestive system and feed it biscuits and bananas to see (and feel!) how each step works. Get ready for fun experiments and exciting discoveries about how our bodies turn food into fuel. Make an anatomy apron to take home!
Suitable for ages 5-9
Children must be accompanied by an adult. These family workshops are designed for you and your child to learn from each other and work together while trying out new things.
Ticket includes your timed Saturday Science Club session
The Yang Science Centre is accessible through Faringdon Lodge, at the left end of the Abingdon School Sports Centre car park. The car park is reserved for the sports centre, please use other parking or transport options.
