This July marked our 70 year anniversary. We celebrated this with a special running weekend and exhibition charting the evolution of railway services from 1930 to the present day. Several trains not usually seen at Pendon ran on the Sea Wall scene, including an HST in original livery as introduced in 1976 and a 1960s Western Class Diesel.
The event was such a success that there will be a re-run on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December, which will be the last weekend the museum is open before closing for the winter period. If you missed the first event in July, or would like to see the special trains running again, make sure to mark this date in your diary.
