Scale and Sustain: Building Cash and Keeping it Coming
About this Event
A panel discussion on funding, growth and playing the long game, hosted in partnership with Reed Women in Tech as part of University of Warwick’s CreaTech Frontiers programme.
Every founder hits the same question eventually: how do we get the money in and keep it coming? All founders are welcome to this inspirational event featuring female leaders in tech
Join CreaTech Frontiers and Reed Women in Tech for an evening of honest conversation about funding, growth, and the decisions that shape both. We've brought together female entrepreneurs at different stages of their business journeys to talk candidly about what's actually worked (and what hasn't) when it comes to building sustainable cash flow and scaling on their own terms.
What we'll cover:
- The full funding landscape (including private investment, VC, small business loans, bootstrapping, grants, and public sector bids) and how to know what fits your business
- How to work out when (and whether) to scale, and what ‘right’ looks like for you rather than for someone else's growth story
- Practical ways to improve your odds when you're playing the funding game
- Real stories from founders who've been in the room, made the pitch, and lived with the outcome either way
Format:
A moderated panel discussion followed by open networking. Light refreshments (tea, coffee and snacks) provided.
Who it's for?
Founders and business owners at any stage (including both women and allies!), whether you're weighing your first funding round or working out how to sustain growth you've already got. No prior funding experience assumed.
