About this Event
Sacred Date Night is an intentional pause from the momentum of everyday life…an invitation to come back into presence with your partner, with curiosity, care, and honesty.
Held every other Friday evening from February through April, this in-person series welcomes couples of all genders into a warm, facilitated space to explore emotional intimacy, embodied connection, boundaries, and relational aliveness.
Rather than fixing what’s broken, Sacred Date Night creates the conditions for connection to be nourished, renewed, and explored…through presence, touch, reflection, and shared experience.
This is not therapy.
It is not explicit or sexualised.
It is a guided, relational experience designed to support connection, safety, and intimacy.
SACRED DATE NIGHT IS FOR COUPLES WHO -
- Feel connected and want to keep their relationship alive, curious, and evolving
- Occasionally feel busy, distracted, or out of rhythm and want to gently recalibrate
- Long for more presence, closeness, or aliveness in their connection
- Want to deepen intimacy without turning it into a problem-solving exercise
- Appreciate ritual, embodiment, and intentional space
- Are open to gentle guidance, reflection, and shared experience
This experience may not be a fit if you are seeking couples therapy, explicit sexual exploration, or a passive workshop format.
WHAT TO EXPECT -
Sacred Date nights will be every second Friday starting February 20 until April 17 (with one week off for the Good Friday holiday). Each 90-minute gathering will vary slightly while following a familiar and supportive arc.
Evenings may include some combination of:
- Guided journalling or reflection to help you arrive, orient, and set intention
- Partner practices such as eye-gazing, conscious touch, breath, or shared presence
- Verbal sharing with your partner, creating space to speak and be met
- Group discussion or reflection, gently facilitated to normalise experience and deepen shared understanding
- Embodied practices drawing on nervous-system regulation, attunement, and presence
- A closing integration sound bath, allowing the evening’s experiences to settle into the body
- Simple connection invitations to explore between gatherings, supporting continuity beyond the evening
Practices are paced, invitational, and designed to support awareness, consent, and choice rather than performance.
CONSENT & SAFTEY -
Clear consent is foundational to Sacred Date Night.
All exercises are optional.
You are always welcome to pause, adapt, or opt out of any practice.
Touch invitations are clearly framed, with space to honour individual and relational boundaries. No one is ever pressured to participate in a particular way or to share beyond what feels right.
OPTIONAL ENHANCEMENTS -
On some evenings, optional herbal or ceremonial enhancements may be offered to support embodiment, presence, or relaxation.
These are always optional and communicated transparently by email in advance, allowing couples to make informed and aligned choices.
Participation is never required and is not central to the experience.
TICKET TYPES -
Couples are invited to attend one evening as a stand-alone experience, or join the full series for added depth, continuity, and a 20% series savings.
MAKE SURE YOU BRING -
-Yoga mats (we have just a few that we can loan out if you don't have one for each of you. Please let us know ahead of time.)

ARRIVING AT THE STUDIO -
There is plenty of free street parking.

To keep the space sacred and safe, latecomers will not be admitted. Please allow yourself extra time to find parking and arrive 10 minutes in advance to settle in. Doors open at 7:20pm. (No refunds or credits for latecomers.)
ABOUT YOUR HOSTS -
Dana Harvey, founder of The Flourish Academy, is a facilitator, ceremonial guide, and educator with many years of experience holding intimate and group containers rooted in nervous-system awareness, embodiment, ritual, and sound ceremony. Her work bridges science, spirituality, and relational presence, supporting people to reconnect with themselves and each other in grounded, ethical, and meaningful ways.
Andrey, Dana's husband, has apprenticed privately with her for many years, developing skills in facilitation, presence, and relational space-holding. He brings steadiness, attentiveness, and lived relational practice into these evenings, co-hosting Sacred Date Night as a shared offering grounded in partnership.
Together, Dana and Andrey share practices they actively use to keep their own relationship connected, responsive, and alive, inviting couples into a similar spirit of care and exploration.
