About this Event

Rooted Together is a multi-session series co-hosted by Iye Creative and FED which transforms FED Urban Farm into an inclusive community hub, where neighbours of all ages feel welcome and encouraged to slow down, connect to land and others, and be inspired to grow and share food in community.

We welcome you to join us in the sunshine for your lunch break. We will provide a light snack and refreshment while we connect and learn in a unique, relaxed, and engaging setting. We hope you will leave feeling more connected, inspired, and nourished by the people and stories around you.

What to expect:

• Farm tour
• Storytelling and learning circle
• Snacks and refreshments
• Hands-on engagement

What to bring:

• Your lunch
• Water bottle
• Hat
• Sunscreen

How to get here:

• Street and on-site parking is available but limited
• Accessible by foot and bike (secure bike storage available inside farm gates)
• Bus routes 10,14,15 nearby

Accessibilty:

• The ground is gravel and matting on-site, mostly flat but a bit of an uneven surface
• There is a small lip at the entrance of the farm gate, but there are no stairs
• Seating available
• Low-impact activities
