Dear Orbus Community

It’s time to take a break and enjoy our annual Orbus Victoria Summer BBQ. We would like to invite you to join us on August 12, 2026, at the Rooftop Patio of the Strathcona Hotel from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This year, we are proud to support Habitat for Humanity and the important work they do in our Victoria community. All proceeds from our fundraising activities during the event will go to this great cause.

Please find the BBQ menu attached. When you register, let us know your menu choice so we can provide the numbers at the Strathcona Hotel. You can let us know what you will be having to eat by typing your first and last name into this .

Ticket Prices:

 Early Bird: $65 per person (until July 12, 2026)

 Regular Price: $68 per person (after July 12, 2026)

The ticket price includes taxes and gratuities.

Fundraising Donations

Raffle baskets

We are looking for donations for our silent auction and raffle baskets. If you or a person you know has a business and they would like to donate any items or gift cards for the raffle baskets please reach out to us via email at [email protected]. In addition their their business and products will be on display and advertised at the event.

Wine basket auction:

We will also have our traditional wine basket auction, so please consider donating one or two bottles of wine (minimum value of $20 each). You can contact us via email at [email protected] if you have any interest in donating a bottle of wine.

Orbus Golf Event

Alongside our barbeque event, we would also like to invite members to play a fun 9-hole, par three golfing event to go out and play before the barbeque.

Tee times will be scheduled between approximately 2:30pm and 3:30pm.

We are currently looking at Mt. Doug Golf Course, but the location may change.
