Truth & Reconciliation: A MMIWG Gathering of Remembrance & Care
About this Event
Join SNIWWOC for a meaningful evening of remembrance, reflection, and community care in honour of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit people (MMIWG2S).
This gathering creates space to come together through connection, storytelling, and collective healing as we recognize the ongoing impacts of colonial violence and honour the lives, families, and communities affected.
Through shared reflection and care, we will hold space for remembrance while strengthening our commitment to reconciliation and action. The evening will be guided by a local Elder, with opportunities for meaningful conversations and shared learning. A bannock dinner will also be provided.
