Attention young patriots! Join us in celebrating America’s 250th birthday and discover Kentucky’s significant role in the American War for Independence. The Colonel Daniel Boone Chapter of the Kentucky Society Sons of the American Revolution will partner with KHS for a day filled with exciting activities.
Mingle with people dressed in period attire, decorate your own “powder horn,” write your own Declaration of Independence, learn frontier skills, toss “tea” into the Kentucky River, and much more! This event is recommended for children from Pre-K through middle school, but all ages are welcome!
