About this Event
No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin or his background or his religion. — Nelson Mandela
What does it take to build a society where everyone feels they belong, are heard, and are valued?
Across our diverse society, multicultural community leaders play a vital role in fostering connection, trust, and inclusion. At the same time, many communities continue to face challenges in navigating systems, expressing their voices, and building meaningful participation in civic life.
You are invited to join our Reimagining Social Cohesion to Embrace Values workshop — an interactive session designed for multicultural community leaders committed to strengthening social cohesion and shared values across society.
This workshop will explore practical ways to support inclusion, build trust across communities, and strengthen collective values that contribute to a more cohesive and connected society.
As part of our commitment to developing emerging community leaders, we encourage each of you to invite one potential community leader who has arrived in Australia within the last five years and is not yet a permanent resident or citizen.
Our aim is to support community leaders in deepening their impact, strengthening connections across communities, and contributing to a more inclusive and cohesive society.
Proudly funded by NSW Multicultural.
Please note that photos may be taken during this session for promotional and reporting purposes. By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed.
If you prefer not to be included, please inform the event organiser on the day.
