Come join us at Yoga Groove Liverpool for a Transformational Breathwork experience led by Wellbeing with Amanda. Amanda is a trauma informed Breathwork Facilitator with a background in Psychology, and is passionate about helping people navigate stress and anxiety through breath.
What is Transformational Breathwork?
Transformational Breathwork is a style of breathwork that involves conscious connected breathing. This style of breathing allows you to unlock a deeper layer of consciousness to process stored emotions/trauma, connect with your highest self, and find clarity in your life.
Using Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB)—a powerful, rhythmic breathing technique—you’ll enter an altered state of consciousness where deep healing and transformation can occur.
This practice shifts your brainwaves from high-beta (active thinking) to alpha and theta states, which are associated with deep relaxation, emotional processing, and subconscious access. In this state, the mind quiets, the nervous system resets, and the body is able to release stored stress, trauma, and find clarity.
This session is for you if you’re ready to:
- Release emotional/mental blocks and suppressed feelings
- Gain mental clarity and feel lighter
- Shift from stress and overwhelm into deep relaxation
- Cultivate a stronger connection with yourself

What to Expect:
- In this event, you will be safely guided through a transformative journey using various breathwork techniques.
What to Bring:
- Journal and Pen for intentions and reflections
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing
- A warm blanket & small cushion (Note: Yoga Mats and Bolsters will be provided)
- Water
- Lip Balm
Preparation:
- Please arrive on time for registration
- Avoid from eating any heavy meals or consuming caffeine at least 2 hours leading up to the event
- Avoid alcohol or substances at least 24 hours before or after
- Please read the following contraindications to make sure this event is right for you. This event may not be suitable for those with certain conditions: If you have a history of chronic physical or mental illness such as schizophrenia, bi-polar, epilepsy, heart conditions, high/low blood pressure, severe asthma, COPD, serious eye conditions or are pregnant, please reach out before purchasing a ticket to this event.
