The CoHealth board has announced it will close its medical clinics in Collingwood, Fitzroy and Kensington, ending GP services by December 2025 and closing the Collingwood site entirely by mid-2026.Join us for this rally outside Labor MP Sarah Witty's office on Johnston St in Fitzroy.
12,500 patients, many of whom have complex needs, will be cut off from access to primary care. If these cuts go ahead, people will die from and be disabled by preventable illness. Our already-strained public hospital emergency departments will be pushed beyond their limit.
We refuse to accept this attack on our public health system. Join this rally to demand
• Immediate intervention by the Victorian and Federal governments to stop the CoHealth closures and prevent any disruption to services
• A public, fully-funded community health system - free, universal, and democratically controlled by the community it serves
