The City of Launceston is proud to invite you and your guest to the launch of Fantastic Forms - exclusively showing at QVMAG in Tasmania.
Fantastic Forms captures the energy, movement and colour in the expansive creative practice of Merric Boyd (1888-1959). Featuring over 200 drawings and ceramics from the Bundanon Collection, in dialogue with contemporary works by Rubyrose Bancroft, Stephen Benwell and Nabilah Nordin, this exhibition celebrates the endless creativity of the human imagination.

Delve deeper into the world of Fantastic Forms with a special In Conversation with the exhibition's curator, Boe-Lin Bastian from Bundanon.
Held on the morning of Saturday 25 July from 11am to 12 noon - prior to the official launch event -exhibition Curator Boe-Lin Bastian will discuss Boyd’s expansive creative practice and reveal how the contemporary artists of Fantastic Forms connect with, reinterpret and respond to Boyd's remarkable body of work.
