故事梗概:

Synopsis:

Chaoshan grandmother Ye Shurou has always lived a quiet and ordinary life. Her debt-ridden grandson Xiaowei secretly travels to Thailand in search of her supposedly wealthy husband, Zheng Musheng, only to uncover a truth that shatters the family’s peace. Zheng had in fact passed away many years ago, while an unknown woman had quietly supported the family in his name through decades of remittance letters known as Qiaopi. As the faded letters unfold, a long-buried story of love, sacrifice and fate gradually comes to light.
