In this hands-on class, students will learn how to safely transform gorgeous seasonal fruit into shelf-stable favorites to enjoy long after harvest. We will explore the process of using a boiling water and a steam canner and review research-based recipe resources and food preservation techniques to ensure best quality and safety. Students will take home a jar of canned fruit. Class fee is $25 per person, or $40 for two people sharing take-home resources.
