Aimed at individuals, business owners, the self-employed or people about to start their businesses to present with confidence

All attendees must have completed the Build A Business to be able to join the workshop.

To be eligible for this workshop, you must be a Greater Manchester resident or the owner of a Greater Manchester located business within the following GM authorities: Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, or Wigan.

Please arrive between 13:45pm - 14:00pm for networking and registration.

Presenting with Confidence: Communication Skills for Small Business Success

Learn tried and tested tools, tricks and techniques to make you a better presenter and communicator, inspire renewed confidence and manage nerves, whether you are trying to build a business or make it grow.

· Do you know your subject inside out but struggle to communicate it clearly when it counts?

• Do you feel a wave of nerves before a meeting, a networking event, or any situation where people are listening?
• Do you avoid opportunities because the thought of speaking up feels like too much?

This three-hour workshop, hosted by Richard Ford, an executive communications consultant, gives you the practical tools to present and the ability to communicate with confidence. Whether it’s a presentation, keynote, pitch or just trying to get your idea across.

At this session you will learn how to:

· Structure what you want to say so it lands clearly every time, whether you have two minutes or twenty.

· Manage nerves and anxiety before and during any presentation, meeting, or pitch.

· Start and finish strongly so you are always remembered for the right reasons.

· Handle unexpected questions without losing your thread.

· Communicate your business, your work, or your expertise in a way that people actually connect with.

· Come across as confident and credible, even when you do not feel it.
