About this Event
Join Us for Practical AI Foundations for Business Owners and Leaders!
A practical four-part, in-person programme for business owners and leaders who want to start using AI properly in their day-to-day work. You’ll map real workflows, improve outputs using structured prompts, build simple assistants, and apply AI to real tasks from your own business. Designed for those who want clarity and structure to start using AI in their day-to-day business.
Sessions will run from 6.30pm - 8.30pm on Tuesday 24 March, Tuesday 31 March, Tuesday 21 April and Tuesday 28 April. Tickets cover all 4 sessions.
Agenda
Module 1: Foundations and AI Readiness (24th March)
Info: Understand what generative AI is, where it performs well, and where it doesn’t. We’ll clarify the difference between AI and automation, explore how AI fits into real business workflows, and map one of your own processes to identify realistic areas for support. You’ll leave with a clearer view of where AI could help and where caution is needed.
You’ll leave with: one mapped workflow from your business, annotated with potential AI touchpoints.
Module 2: Working with AI Properly (31 March)
Info: Learn how to get consistently better results from tools like ChatGPT or Copilot. You’ll practise structured prompting, improve outputs through iteration, and build a simple assistant aligned to one of your real tasks. You’ll leave with: a reusable prompt structure and one working assistant tailored to your work.
Module 3: Practical AI Use Cases Across the Business (21 April)
Info: This session moves from individual tasks to wider business application. We’ll explore practical examples of how AI can support areas such as marketing, sales, customer service, and internal operations. You’ll see where different tools fit, how they connect to workflows, and what makes a use case worth pursuing.
Using your own mapped processes, you’ll identify realistic opportunities and assess which are suitable for early testing.
You’ll leave with: a clearer view of where AI can support different parts of your business and one defined use case to test further.
Module 4: Introducing AI Without Losing Control (28 April)
Info: This session focuses on the practical realities of introducing AI into a business. We’ll explore common early-stage challenges, clarify ownership and expectations, and define simple internal principles to guide responsible use. You’ll reflect on your own experience so far and leave with clear next steps for introducing AI in a structured way.
You’ll leave with: a defined next action, clear ownership, and simple internal AI principles.
