PortSide board game night! We're asking for RSVPs as we only have space inside the Mary Whalen for 30, including kids. We have a BIG collection of fun games, (more than fit in the Eventbrite crop of the photo). Many have maritime and fishing themes. Plus, we have Scrabble, chess, backgammon, cribbage, and more. We have games and puzzles for kids too.

For the first 30 minutes, for those who want to try it, we’re hosting the first Red Hook playing of game HighTide made by our new partners, Parsons grad students Sonima Katara and Vani Bhatnagar. It’s a climate change preparedness simulation with a hurricane flooding scenario in Red Hook. By role-playing and managing resources, it fosters neighborhood resilience and collaboration to help protect people from floods.
