Mindful Music Group for Dads

This group is for dads—of kids of any age. If that’s you, read on. If you know a dad who might benefit, please share!

Start 2025 with connection, growth, and joy through the experience of creating music. No musical experience is needed—just a willingness to stay present, listen as you play, and reflect on what you notice.

The group meets weekly on Tuesdays and offers a mix of improvisation, music listening, and guided reflection. While participants are encouraged to register for multiple sessions to deepen their experience, drop-ins are also welcome.

About the Facilitator:
Dan Saks is a musician, board-certified music therapist, children’s book author, and dad. He hosts the popular kids’ music podcast Noodle Loaf, practices music therapy at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, and runs a private practice on Rugby Road in Brooklyn, NY.
