Combining expertise in nutrition, medicine, and healthy aging, they offer clear strategies for meeting changing nutritional needs, building nourishing meals, and creating sustainable habits that support long-term health and resilience.
Vesanto Melina, MS, RD, is a registered dietitian, educator, and internationally respected authority on vegetarian nutrition. She has taught nutrition at the University of British Columbia and Bastyr University and served as lead author of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' position paper on vegetarian diets. Her honours include a Lifetime Achievement Award in the United States and Canada's Ryley Jeffs Memorial Award.
Charlyn Black, MD, ScD, is a physician, researcher, and professor whose work focuses on chronic disease prevention, nutrition, and healthy aging. She is dedicated to helping people make informed lifestyle choices that support long-term health and well-being.
