About this Event

Tournament Overview
  • Tournament game: Counter-Strike 2 (CS2)
  • Format: Double Elimination
  • All matches will be played one at a time on LAN.
  • Tournament Start Date: Thursday, September 24, 2026.
  • Matches will be played weekly from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
  • Match format: Best of 1 (BO1).
  • The tournament is expected to last:
    • 8 Teams: Approximately 4 weeks
    • 16 Teams: Approximately 8 weeks
  • Matches ran on ly on Wednesdays every week



Team Requirements
  • Each team must consist of:
    • 5 starting players
    • Up to 1 substitute player (optional)
  • A team may register with only 5 players.
  • Players may only be registered on one team.
  • Once the tournament begins, roster changes are not permitted unless approved by tournament administration under exceptional circumstances.



Registration
  • Registration fee: $178.57 CAD + applicable taxes per team.
  • Registration is first come, first served.
  • Teams must choose a team name and a team color.

Initial Registration
  • The first 8 teams to complete registration and payment will secure a tournament spot.

Waitlist
  • After the first 8 teams have registered, all additional teams will be placed on a waitlist.
  • Registration will remain open until the waitlist reaches 8 additional teams, for a maximum of 16 registered teams.
  • Once 16 total teams have registered (8 confirmed + 8 waitlisted), registration will close.



Tournament Size
If 16 Teams Register

The tournament will be expanded to a 16-team double elimination bracket.


If Fewer Than 16 Teams Register

If registration closes without reaching 16 teams:

  • The first 8 registered teams will remain in the tournament.
  • Every team that registered after the first 8 will receive a full refund of their registration fee.
  • The tournament will proceed with an 8-team bracket.

If Fewer Than 8 Teams Register

If fewer than 8 teams register before the registration deadline:

  • The tournament will be postponed and rescheduled for the following month.
  • Registered teams may either:
    • Keep their registration for the rescheduled tournament, or
    • Request a full refund.



Match Schedule
  • Matches are played weekly from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
  • Teams should arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled match time.
  • Tournament organizers will wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the scheduled match start time for missing players.
  • After the 10-minute grace period expires, the match will begin regardless of whether all players are present.
  • Any missing players will be considered AFK, and the match will continue without them until they join.



Match Rules
  • All matches are Best of 1 (BO1).
  • The map pool, map selection process, and side selection will follow the current Counter-Strike 2 Premier rules and active Premier map pool at the time of the tournament.
  • Tournament administrators reserve the right to resolve any issues that arise during map vetoes or match setup.



Player Equipment

Players may bring their own:

  • Mouse
  • Keyboard
  • Mousepad
  • Headset or headphones

Equipment must meet the following requirements:

  • If using a wired headset or headphones, it must connect using a single 3.5 mm AUX connector.
  • Equipment must not contain or use macros, scripting, rapid-fire functions, quick snap, or any other features that provide an unfair competitive advantage.
  • Tournament staff reserve the right to inspect any personal equipment before or during the event.
  • Any equipment found to violate these rules may be prohibited from use, and players must use the equipment provided by the tournament if requested.



Substitute Rules
  • Teams may register one substitute player.
  • The substitute may replace any starting player before the beginning of a match.
  • Only players listed on the team's official roster may participate.
  • Unregistered players are not permitted to play under any circumstances.



Sportsmanship

All participants are expected to:

  • Treat opponents, spectators, and tournament staff with respect.
  • Refrain from harassment, abusive language, or unsportsmanlike conduct.
  • Follow all instructions provided by tournament organizers.

Tournament organizers may issue warnings, match forfeits, or disqualifications for misconduct.



Cheating

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Cheats, hacks, or scripts.
  • Third-party software that provides an unfair competitive advantage.
  • Exploiting game bugs.
  • Ghosting or receiving outside assistance during a match.

Any player or team found cheating may be immediately disqualified without a refund.



Tournament Administration

Tournament organizers have the final authority regarding:

  • Rule interpretations.
  • Scheduling.
  • Match disputes.
  • Player eligibility.
  • Technical issues.
  • Situations not specifically covered by this rulebook.

All organizer decisions are final.



Refund Policy

Refunds will only be issued in the following situations:

  • Waitlisted teams that are not included because the tournament proceeds with only 8 teams.
  • The tournament is postponed and a team chooses not to participate in the rescheduled event.
  • The tournament is cancelled by the organizers.

No refunds will be issued for teams that voluntarily withdraw after registration unless approved by tournament administration.



Rule Changes

Tournament organizers reserve the right to modify these rules when necessary to ensure fair competition or address unforeseen circumstances. Any rule changes will be communicated to all registered teams before taking effect.

The winner of Game 27 becomes the Winners Bracket Champion and remains undefeated.

The loser of Game 27 drops into the Losers Bracket.

WEEK 8 — The Finals
  • Game 29: Loser of Game 27 vs Winner of Game 28 (Losers Bracket Final)

The winner of Game 29 becomes the Losers Bracket Champion.

The loser of Game 29 is eliminated.


🏆 Grand Final
  • Game 30: Champion of losers vs Champion of winners

if champion of winners win, that's game and winner gets the 2000 price, if champion of losers win it will be Grand Final Reset.



🔥 Grand Final Reset

Because this is double elimination, the Winners Bracket Champion enters the Grand Final without a loss, while the Losers Bracket Champion already has one loss.

If the Losers Bracket Champion wins Game 30, both teams now have one loss.

Therefore:

  • Game 31 — Grand Final Reset: Winner of Game 29 vs Winner of Game 27
  • Winner of Game 31 = Tournament Champion!!
