Welcome to Buff Aunt Bria’s Queer & Trans Martial Arts club, where confidence meets community, and strength comes in every form!
This event is free and open to anyone, no matter their skill level or age, who identifies with (or is exploring!) the LGBTQ2+A spectrum.
You can start any time and you don't have to commit to a set number of classes to become a student.
Our school was founded by Buff Aunt Bria, a powerhouse black belt in karate and former powerlifter, and as the community around it is as tight-knit as found family can be. Bria’s passion for martial arts and her fierce love for the trans community inspired her and her wife to open a free-to-attend school dedicated to empowerment, safety, and self-expression.
Bria teaches the art of discipline, respect, and self-defence all while keeping it fun, uplifting, and inclusive for ages 19 and up.
In an uncertain world, we believe that everyone deserves the tools and confidence to stand tall and stay safe. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills, Buff Aunt Bria and the team are here to help you build strength, find balance, and keep your head held high.
