About this Event

Ryan Oliver is one of Western Canada's most celebrated saxophonists, having been nominated for a Juno, winning best jazz musician of the year at the 2022 Western Canadian music awards, and having been a member of the Shuffle Demons for over 15 years.

To celebrate the 100th birthday of John Coltrane, Ryan Oliver brings Coltrane's music to Hero's Welcome, with a Cuban band!

This concert is part of Social Music, a monthly live music series at Hero's Welcome presented by Infidels Jazz, and part of Vancouver Celebrates Coltrane.
