Tend last Fall's plantings and learn to contribute plant, bird, and insect species data to the Still Creek Project!
About this Event

Help Still Moon Arts tend native plantings along Still Creek at Renfrew Community Park! It's time for our annual maintenance to remove the bindweed, blackberry, and buttercup regrowth, so our Sitka Spruce and various shrubs can continue to thrive.

At this stewardship session, we will both remove invasive species and do a bioblitz to better understand the species present in the park! We will use iNaturalist to identify and catalogue plant, insect, and bird species in our restoration area.

Still Moon Arts will provide gloves and all tools necessary for invasive removal. Just bring yourself and a phone with iNaturalist downloaded if you want to be involved in the bioblitz!

Hope to see you there!
