Since the beginning of wine production, thousands of years ago, the Mediterranean Sea has been crucial to wine production and trade. The Mediterranean Sea offers a dry climate of warm, sunny days and cool, breezy nights, allowing for perfectly balanced, structured wines. It was also the mode of trade for the ancient Phoenician, Greek and Roman empires at the beginning of the global wine industry. Today, the wines growin along the Mediterranean Sea offer bright, aromatic expressions that transport us to beaufitul beaches and perfect sunshine days!
Join us on Saturday, September 12th in The Number 9 Lounge, above Planet Wine, for an informative yet informal tasting that'll include some of our absolute favorite wines grown in Mediterranean-influenced wine regions. We'll have a spread of sparkling, white, rosé, and red wines that you won't want to miss!
As always, we're breaking this thing into 2 sessions (12-2 pm and 3-5 pm) to keep it all nice and cool, so please get your tickets now to secure your preferred time slot. You'll be rewarded with a fun Saturday, sipping cool wines with a crew of pros doing the pouring and you'll enjoy some seriously nice pricing on all of the bottles - just for you & just for the day, so c'mon and let's try the wines of the sea!
