Persian Dinner Masterclass with Solmaz (August 2026)
About this Event
Solmaz is back with another Persian Masterclass, this time drawing on old family recipes to help you make a Persian feast, in this hands on cooking class.
This is a BYOB event, so feel free to bring along some drinks to enjoy in the class. We'll then sit and eat what you've made - the perfect start to a wonderful Fringe evening in Edinburgh! This event will run from 5-7.30pm with time to sit and eat at the end.
Tickets can also be purchased from without additional fees.
On the night, Solmaz will be teaching you how to make a main of Saffron Chicken or Potato Kookoo (vegetarian), to serve with a Persian cucumber salad. Dessert will be pistachio and walnut cookies.
Money raised goes towards our work. Our work involves bringing people together to enjoy good food and good company, whilst working towards addressing food insecurity in a dignified way.
Allergens and Dietaries
This class can be made suitable for vegetarians. Please email at the time of booking with any allergen or diatary requirements. We will endeavour to accomodate these, although please be advised this class handles nuts so will not be suitable for those with severe allergies.

Location
This event will be taking place at our Flavour and Haver cook school in Leith, a short walk from Leith Walk and Pilrig Park. Accessible through Lothian Buses via Leith Walk, Great Junction Street and Bonnington Road.
