Fronted by Chris Packham and Deborah Meaden, the People's Emergency Briefing film will be released nationwide, and shown in Cambridgeshire, from April. We urge everyone, and especially our local councillors and politicians, to come to one of our free screenings and discussions.

The film follows The National Emergency Briefing (NEB), held in Westminster on Nov 27th 2025. Nine international experts addressed 1,200 politicians and other leaders on the scale of the emergency and its impacts on health, food, national security and the economy.

The series of film showings in Cambridge and throughout Cambridgeshire is an opportunity for a public discussion on the challenges we anticipate and how we might influence our MPs and take action together.

Refreshments (including food) will be provided!

The film is 50 minutes long, and the event will include refreshments and a facilitated discussion.

N.B. There is no expectation that you 'sign up' to a particular group as a result of attending the events. Simply come along and join the discussion.

Take action now :

  • Book to attend one of the screenings, from April onwards*
  • Visit the NEB website (https://www.nebriefing.org/) for more details to:
  • Join the call for a national televised emergency briefing
  • Donate to the project and follow its progress
  • Watch excerpts from the NEB

Supporters include the National Trust, the RSPB, Royal Meteorological Society, Royal Society of Biology, the National Education Union, many faith groups and more.

*We will gradually be adding dates and locations for the film showing and discussion - please come back here to see them and book your place.
