Clay Workshop: Make a Mini Monster!

Come and get creative with clay and make your very own mini monster!

Mini monsters are brilliant fun to make because there's no such thing as getting them wrong. Give yours enormous teeth, tiny ears, three eyes, six legs, a curly tail, huge claws… or invent something nobody has ever seen before.

We'll all start in the same way, using a couple of simple pinch pots to create the basic form. From there, you'll learn how to add, shape and join clay before you let your imagination take over and turn it into a completely unique monster.

This is a relaxed, playful session designed for children and grown-ups to make together – adults are very much encouraged to make their own monster too!

No previous experience with clay is needed. We'll guide you through the techniques and then help you bring your ideas to life. There are a maximum of 10 making places, so the session stays small and everyone has plenty of help when needed

Where: Present Made Small Pavilion

When: August 24th, 6-8pm

Practical details:

• The workshop is suitable for all ages. Children aged 6 and under will need help from a parent or accompanying adult.
• All materials included
• Please dress for mess - clay happens!
• Spaces are limited, so grab yours before they're snapped up.

Come with an idea for your monster or simply see what emerges from the clay. The weirder, sillier and more wonderful, the better!
